How to Access Toyama from Major Airports in Japan
1. From Tokyo (Narita or Haneda Airport)
By Shinkansen (Recommended):
Take a train or bus to Tokyo Station, then board the Hokuriku Shinkansen to Toyama Station.
Total travel time: approx. 2.5–3 hours.
By Domestic Flight:
Direct flights from Haneda Airport to Toyama Airport are available.
From Toyama Airport, take a bus to Toyama Station (approx. 25 minutes).
2. From Osaka (Kansai International Airport – KIX)
Take the Limited Express Haruka to Kyoto Station, then transfer to the Limited Express Thunderbird to Tsuruga Station. From Tsuruga, transfer to the Hokuriku Shinkansen.
Total travel time: approximately 3.5–4 hours.
3. From Nagoya (Chubu Centrair Airport)
Take the Meitetsu train to Nagoya Station, then ride the Limited Express Wide View Hida directly to Toyama.
Total travel time: approx. 3–3.5 hours.
Access to Toyama International Conference Center
1. From Toyama Station
Take the Toyama City Tram (Line 1 or 2) from the station. Get off at “International Conference Center-mae” stop. The venue is right in front of the stop (1–2 minutes on foot).
2. From Toyama Airport
Take the airport bus to Toyama Station (approx. 25 minutes). Transfer to the Toyama City Tram and get off at “International Conference Center-mae.”
3. Walking from Toyama Station
It is about 15 minutes on foot from the station to the conference center.

The conference center is easily accessible by the Toyama City Tram (“Centram”). The nearest stop is Kokusai-Kaigijo-Mae, located directly in front of the venue. Frequent tram services connect the venue with Toyama Station (approx. 10 minutes).
