General Information

The official language of the symposium is English. As a general rule, plenary lectures are 45 minutes (including 5 minutes for discussion), invited talks are 30 minutes (including 5 minutes for discussion), and contributed oral presentations are 15 minutes (including 5 minutes for discussion). The poster session is scheduled to last approximately 60–80 minutes. All oral presentations must be made using your own computer. If you are unable to use the computer you bring, please contact the ISS Secretariat in advance. A laptop PC will be available in each presentation room; however, we cannot guarantee that it will function properly for your presentation. If you wish to change or cancel your presentation after the presentation schedule (date and time) has been finalized, please be sure to contact the ISS-Secretariat. The draft program will be released on September 25, and the presentation program will be finalized on November 2. If you must cancel your presentation due to unavoidable circumstances, please be sure to notify the ISS-Secretariat. All symposium events will be finalized on November 13. After this date, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances. If you are absent from your presentation without prior notice after this date, your presentation will be treated as REJECTED. In addition, if a no-show occurs, the corresponding proceedings manuscript will also be REJECTED. Recording presentations in any form—video, photography, or audio—without the presenter’s prior consent is strictly prohibited. Please also set your mobile phone to silent mode or turn it off while in the presentation venue.

Oral Presentation

Each presentation room is equipped with a projector. Presenters are asked to bring their own mobile PCs for presentations. Alternative Windows PCs are available at Venues A, B, C, and D, but as a general rule, please use your own PC. Please note that we cannot provide compensation even if the presentation time is shortened due to computer failure. If a problem occurs, the presentation time cannot be extended. We do not offer extensions. Please note that the presentation time may be shortened. The PC and software requirements to install are as follows.

Poster Presentation

Instructions for Poster Presentation
‍The available poster board size is W1800 mm × H1800 mm. An A0 landscape format is strongly recommended. Please attach your poster to the board marked with your Presentation ID. All materials must be prepared in English. All figures, photos, and tables must include captions. Pushpins will be provided by the ISS-Secretariat. All posters must be mounted before the start of the session on the designated panels. All posters must be removed immediately after the poster presentation period ends. Posters not removed on the same day will be discarded by the ISS-Secretariat.
